About Us
The Jazzy Circuit is a non-profit collective of retrogaming event organizers consistently operating and growing since its formation in 2017.
Brought together by a shared love of 1999's 'Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike', we serve the growing necessity for inclusive community spaces: coordinating gatherings that recall a pre-social-media era. We're most known for our annual video game tournament league which has sanctioned and promoted hundreds of independent events alongside our first-party Auto-Qualifiers and season 'Finale' getaways. We've also run organizer support groups, conducted fundraising for community venues through the COVID-19 pandemic, provided mentorship to aspiring event leads and tutelage to would-be content creators -- and much more.
Our love of classic arcade culture and its community motivates us to do more every year. If you think you can help, contact us!
Our Mission
Jazzy Circuit Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to further the appreciation of video game culture through cooperation and competition. Rather than participate in our culture at a distance, we encourage game-enthusiasts across demographics to gather under one roof and collaborate: to support local businesses providing recreational spaces, to forge supportive social networks across regions, and to practice vital social (and professional) skills in an increasingly isolating world. Retrogaming tournaments are about much more than deciding a winner. They're about celebrating a mutual passion that motivates diverse people to cooperate toward a mutual goal: making tonight's gathering into tomorrow's fond memory.
Each event and project represents work to be done, and our team of volunteer organizers shares their time, energy, and specialized skills in service of our mission. We take pride in the community that we serve, and we've seen it grow, spread, and demographically broaden since our work began. With your help, we can continue to expand our programs and elaborate on the real value that our effort generates.
